Very happy to have locked up our 9th straight year winning the Lake Macquarie Combine overall average in 2024 with 2 races still to go.
We have also finished second in the overall federation aggregate for 2024

At Combine level we have won both the sprint and distance averages in 2024 and taken out the 4 major races ( Young Bird Derby, National , Raffle Ring Race and the Longest race).
Really special results to have the only 5 Bird National pigeon across two federations to trap on the day and to then trap the only lake Combine raffle ring pigeon in race time to take all prizes.

2022 - "Good to race out a full season again."

This week was the Lake Macquarie Combine 2022 presentation Lunch/ Awards day, and it again was a very well organised and run luncheon.
In 2022 we were lucky enough to win 9 individual Combine races and also placed 2nd once, 3rd x 3 times and 4th x 3 times in what was another successful season.

Our key wins included the Youn Bird Derby (which is a key target race for us), the raffle ring race which is our biggest prize money race and the individual knockout trophy.
We also placed 2nd and 5th in the Raffle ring race with our 2nd and third birds on the day, 2nd and 3rd in the $20 ring race from 450 miles and 4th in the Breeders plate from 300 miles.

We were awarded the Combine Champion Average winner trophy for a record 7th season, and we can only hope that 2023 is another good season for our lofts.

Another great set of results in 2019 for our loft flying two clocks in the strong Lake Macquarie Combine and Newcastle and Coalfields Pigeon Federation.

In 2019 ourLake Combine results included 17 wins from 22 races against around 21 flyers, taking out the overall points award for Champion Flyer for a record 5th consecutive year across 4 different routes/ directions (including on our preferred harder, slower velocity North route twice). We ran 1st and 2nd in the sprint series, 1st and 2nd in the mid distance series , 1st and 3rd in the long distance series and 1st and 2nd in the overall averages.

We also achieved 24 top 4 federation positions across both clocks finishing 1st and 2nd in the combined federation points average and 1st place in the NCF Champion Flyer of the year award.

We won the federation mid distance average for the 3rd consecutive year and also won numerous feature races including The Young Bird Derby, Federation Breeders Plate, Federation Gold Band Race and the Federation Blue Band Race.

An Amazing Sprint hen who's sister also won 2 combines and was 2nd outright federation both starts.

This hen is a grand daughter of Top Shelf and a direct daughter of Maid Marian making her 3/4 Alwin Petrie and 1/4 Hereman

NCF 18- 8908- Newcastle Coalfields Federation

2019 BIRD OF THE YEAR

Dual Federation winner at 500 km and then 2 weeks later at 700 km- winning the 700 km event by 4 mins and 56 secs.

This hen also won the NCF Gold band classic race and both 5 bird nomination events.

A fantastic race hen who is now safely in stock. This hen is out of our distance "Melbourne Cup" family of pigeons.

NCF 18 9903- Dione

A truly amazing and consistent race hen.

This hen won numerous prizes in 2019 including 3 top 5 fed finishes.

She won multiple combine races and was 2nd in two breeders plate races and the Lake Combine Rat Race winning prizes from 160 km to 600 km.

This hen is out of a grandson of the famous "Sampson" paired to a daughter of Top Shelf making her 3/4 Hereman and 1/4 Petrie.
